Fun time with Toddler 4/9/2012

Can easily spend 3-4hrs here. Highlights include the Sky train over the falls, Ferris wheel, train, play ground with big red wagon, watching the rushing water over one of the many foot bridges, Imax, and children't museum. Parking is cheap compared to other cities and easy to find. more

This park is a great place to go if you just want to get out of the house. I'd take my daughter here and just walk around and feed the ducks. You can go on the little tour train around the park, theres a little play ground for the kids, and of course the carousel merry-go-round. They have food and the Imax theater, and a little carnival area. Its good outside fun if you want to walk or ride a bike or just sit down in the nice grass and relax. The only down fall is you have to pay for parking. more

River front Park is a great park! There is something for everyone to enjoy. It is also just great to sit in the grass by the river and feed the ducks. Very peaceful, very clean! Lots of activities for children and well as adults. Lots of shade trees, restrooms and water fountains. more

Enjoy a day at the park ...no cost 7/19/2005

Riverfront Park is my favorite place in Spokane. You can walk around the park relax on a bench. Bring lunch or dinner and have a picinic. The giant Red Wagon Slide is a favorite of the little ones. There are rides at a low cost, the carousel, an Imax Theater. The train ride around the park is awesome and you can ride all day traveling the park without alot of walking. Don't forget to ride the Gondola over the falls....what a view. They also have special events such as Neighbor Days, Pig out in the Park....Check it out it's the best spot in town. Beautifully landscaped, clean and safe. more

lots to do 6/19/2005

Located in the heart of Downtown Spokane. There is SO much to do there, you can spend an entire day and not see all that there is to offer. Lush green meadows and a beautiful river, gondola rides over the Spokane Falls, IMAX Theatre, 1909 historic Carrousel, plus many outdoor concerts & other community activities.
