An Instant Party At The RIO 4/16/2006

The RIO is a fun place to stay or stop in when in Las Vegas. It is an instant party!! As soon as you walk in the door you can feel the excitement of the carnival atmosphere. At night they have the Masquerade In the Sky and it gets your toes a' tapping and your hands a' clapping. We love going there to play the slots in the casino and get in the party mood! more

Roomy Accomodations, Great Buffet 4/15/2006

This is a fun hotel. We stayed there for several days recently. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very well maintained. The rates are reasonable. They have several restaurants and a buffet that is delicious. It is a little off the strip, but I would highly recommend this hotel more

Rio: Las Vegas 4/12/2006

This All-Suite hotel is excellent. All of their rooms include couches and a mini bar (although overpriced like all hotel minibars). Although it is not directly on The Strip, if you get the right room, you can see most of the Strip. The price for such a room is insanely cheap--ours was only $70 a night! more

Off the strip but really cool! 4/9/2006

The Rio is located off the strip but has a great New Orleans themed casino and décor. Haven’t stayed in the rooms, so I can’t comment on them, but they have great entertainment on the premises and I would probably choose to stay there in the future even though it’s off the strip. The casino was a lot of fun, too! more

Rio! 1/16/2006

The Rio is located off the strip in Las Vegas. I have never stayed here, so I can't comment on the suites here, but the casino is nice. Especially fun is the Show in the Sky that goes on every so often (check with an employee for the next show time). Floats with performers are suspended from the ceiling and they go around the casino. The performers are dancing to music and throwing beads to the crowd. You feel like you are at Carnival. There even is a stage show at the same time. It is worth checking out the Rio for this fun entertainment. Buffet lovers will enjoy the two popular buffets here. more

all suites 8/25/2005

Even though the location of the Rio is off the strip, it's still a good option when staying in Vegas. Rooms are huge and a great deal for the price! They also have two of the best buffets in Vegas. If you can't afford the seafood buffet, then their regular one is definitely worth it. Since the theme of this hotel is Carnivale, they have a fun dance show that they do in the casino throughout the day. There's also a free shuttle to and from the strip. more

Rio Hotel & Casino 8/5/2005

The Rio Hotel & Casino has a southern Lousiana themed atmosphere. The mood here is always festive, always ready to party. They are located a bit away from the strip, but that doesn't mean anything. It's a great casino, with a bunch of shows and attractions to see. When Mardi Gra season comes around, make sure you visit the Rio Hotel and Casino for a great time! more

show in the sky 6/28/2005

The place is really nice. The casino is big and the room are great. Every half hour, they have a free show. They also have this show called Show In The Sky, where they have these boats going around the casino in the ceiling. It's really cool because they give you free necklaces. Also, you can get some tickets and can be in the show. They'll let you dress up and ride with them. more
