Decided to support a neighborhood salon so I made an appointment. I walked in with great, full curly locks and walked out with skinny, frizzy, spirals. I thought that maybe it was the product that was used but after I washed and styled my hair with my products, I was still very upset with my cut. I called to complain and was told to come in. I was told that maybe it was that she brushed my hair. I said that I thought it was the 'thinning' that was done. I was then told to give it two weeks, that it would settle in. Well, it's been two weeks, and yes it settled in but not in a good way. It looks like I have a box on my head. I am now playing a waiting game for my hair to grow in so I can get it fixed. I will go back to Ouidad, even though they did a little thinning, I didn't end up with skinny hair. To Ringlet's credit, they did offer to give me my money back, but that would not have fixed my hair. The stylist who did my hair has curly hair, but she just didn't do a good job with my curly hair. I am very disappointed.
03.15 - 4 weeks later and I'm hating my hair more than ever. I have a wedding to go to in May and I'm beginning to think I'm going to just have to cut it very short for it to look good. This has been the worst hair cut experience I have ever had!!!
Pros: Nice Atmosphere
Cons: Limited products for curly hair
