I have finally found a place that makes GREAT subgum chow mein. I especially like it in what they call dark sauce. Actually, I have found very few places in Des Moines that offer subgum chow mein. Their fried wontons are light and crispy. I don't feel I need steel teeth to eat them like I have in other chineese resturants. I know it's not the fanciest restaurant, but I would prefer great food to a gorgeous statue when hungry. Also, when I am in the mood for takeout I give them a call.
