DO NOT USE!! WARNING DO NOT USE this company I would not refer my worst enemy, to this so called 30 year history moving company, called Republic. I even spoke with the owner today 04/27/11, who seemed to leave his name and number with a prior complaint. He ...Bill, told the gentleman, in his message that he had no record of him using his company, so he must have it mixed up with another mover. Well, Bill seem to tell me tha,t I had no right to complain, due to my job was a government move and was paid for by such....so WARNING, if you guys are going to use this company and have your company, Federal Government/Military move you, be aware, that when things go south, he will tell you that you have no right to complain, because you didn't pay for the move...even though you had a choice who to pick. \r

So where do I begin...well, like the customer stated, the workers showed up late(all 3 Days), most of them didn't speak English nor had a license to drive, so couldn't when they needed to go get something for the move or eat. They broke 3 shelving units, 4 ceramic glass pieces and though I can not point the finger at no one worker, I was missing a container of tools. There were many chiped/scratch items too because, they were always in a hurry to finish...but when the items were brought up or to my attention, they conveniently said oooooohhh that was like that. They promised to do work, that was never completed....... like install ceiling fans, which they were in a hurry to quote for the job to raise the rate but, couldn't/wouldn't do. I HAD TO HIRE AN ELECTRICIAN. They also promised to do a ""VIP MOVE"", which was suppose to be like a white glove service, another words I wouldnt have to lift a finger they would pack, move and unpack all items and set up where I would lilke it, so my house would be completed after they were done. They misplaced/lost their stack of paperwork, that they kept throwing at me from the first day and demanded that I signed it. BECAREFUL, they want you to sign paperwork with pennies on the dollar if at all for insurance purposes. They basically want you to sign your stuff away as they hurry up and throw it in the truck. Some boxes were marked, most were not. Those that were, were put in the wrong rooms. I HAD TO HIRE TWO MOVERS AS WELL., due to they did not finish the so called ""VIP MOVE"", they just basically through it out of the truck and in to the wrong rooms, where I couldnt even walk through my house. I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE ON ONE WORKER ......who I didnt even know but, he shook my hand and started taking pictures of the inside of my new home and yelled and threatened me when I questioned him. He said they are done here, they moved me no matter how far one block or 1000 miles the truck is empty. The additional movers was 40 hours times 2 people at 15 bucks an hour since they like to charge 185 dollars an hour minimum for workers that never show up or can communicate or pack properly. So I wanted my 1200 back that I paid out for the job that they didn't do. They/Bill told me ooooooooooh well nothing he could do. I shouldn't have waited sooooooooooo long. However, for the past TWO MONTHS, I have left 20+ messages, text and voicemails, with no call backs but two. This company does not help or care about you or your stuff. PLEASSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE BECAREFUL AND CHOOSE ELSEWHERE all those positive comments were two plus years ago. I think Bill has recently taken over and it shows. \r
