For all those, who have suffered with dental pain with no relief in sight, there is hope. I am amazed and grateful that I am finally pain free. In 2002 I started having jaw pain. My DDS root canalled and crowned tooth 30. Pain eased to mild tenderness. I began clenching at night. This resulted in the need for a night guard. Night guards helped but I woke with a very sore jaw, loss of sleep and headaches. In 2006 the jaw tenderness around tooth 30 worsened. the result was tooth 30's crown had cracked and the root canal had abscessed. In 2007 DDS extracted tooth 30. I had intense pain, dry socket and problems with bone spurs for weeks. Due to the pain the DDS packed the extraction sight 2 times a day with a numblin medication. In 2008 the are healed enough to put a bridge in. Pain was still intense and constant. Tooth 29 was given a root canal. pain continued. I tried acupunture, magnet thereapy, tends unit, ostepopathic manipulation, massage, drugs, naturopathy and Body Talk sessions. All gave some relief, though temporary.
