Well after reading the other Blog Comments I think I have been going to a different Regional Cardiology office ha, I have Dr. Magorien and go to their Lodi, Ca office. I have been a patient since the 90s and have always felt like I was in good hands. I have had tests done in the Sacramento facility and found them caring and I felt like I mattered. All of the staff in the Lodi office have always!!!!! been caring , professional and made me feel confident in their ability. Dr. Magorien has always been the best....He has been personable made sure I understood what was going on and did follow ups,he makes sure I am comfortable with decisions and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. I had a test one time and Dr. Kaku in attendance and he was great answered questions and even had me laughing as the dye went in and I have found most Cardio-Doctors are pretty serious personality wise. Very Competent office and I feel lucky to have them. more

I have received another billing statement from the Regional Cardiology Billing department dated 02/20/2013. I have addressed problems with my Regional Cardiology bill and every issue appears to have been completely ignored. I have experienced issues with premature billing, bills not submitted for insurance coverage, incorrect bill coding, billing for aborted services, billing for charges already paid by insurance (dubbed Balance Billings - illegal in California), and insurance repricing. Regional Cardiology Billing department now has a record of attempting to be paid twice for the same services by submitting a bill to me that Regional Cardiology Billing department had already received payment for from my insurance.\r \r Regional Cardiology Billing department's unwillingness to cooperate to resolve the issues is demonstrative of an attitude of indifference, cold apathy, and dispassion. This is so incompatible with the nature of my doctor and his principals that I find it necessary to inform him of how his patients are given consideration by the Regional Cardiology Billing department.\r \r This indifference presents a problem with getting an incorrect bill paid. This is the only bill that remains outstanding from my operation and it is all because of Regional Cardiology Billing department's unwillingness to cooperate, and competence. Everyone else has done their billing correctly and have been paid. This complaint has been drafted on behalf of my wife. more

We are all agreed.....Terrible Customer Service 10/8/2010

I had a very similar experience as the other two reviews. Over several weeks I called trying to make an appointment the new patient receptionist, but in the dozens of calls I made she NEVER picked up the phone. I tried leaving messages which promised to get back to me within the next 24 hours. I'd wait multiple days before I would try back. Sometimes I missed her call back but when I returned her call I was back in the waiting game. I complained to the receptionist who took my information and said she would have her get right back to me, but that didn't accomplish anything. We finally connected and after an apology of being understaffed we took all of about 1 minute to make the appointment. She told me that she would send the appointment information and a new patient packet in the mail. That never showed up. When I called back to find out what was up I was placed on hold for a long time and the phone was finally answered by someone with attitude who told me to just show up. While this was going on I was dealing with another referral my doctor had made. The appointment was taken care of in days, not months. The new patient packet came in the mail as said with useful information contained. Quite a contrast with the lack of professionalism Regional Cardiology Assoc showed. This office definitely shows no interest in the patients they are treating. I'm recommending to my doctor that he find a different Cardiologist to make is referrals to. more

If I Don't Drop Dead fFrst! 9/7/2010

~Left a message 4 times to schedule a test. I was about to send a registered letter when she finally called back (I think my last call had some sort of threat of reporting to the state medical board). (I told the doctor but he likes her)\r ~Then ... the appointment with the doctor to review the test results is FOUR MONTHS LATER!!\r ~Then .. no reminder call about that appointment (don't they get to bill your insurance company for a no-show?)\r ~this is a multi-multi doctor practice with a list of doctors on the door that looks like a class attendance sheet.\r ~I think there are other good cardiologists in Sacramento that I can go to that have better customer service -- but I won't know until I know what the diagnosis is .. and this seems to take some time at this office. \r ~ I recommend this office for people who don't demand quality service and whose condition doesn't demand immediate attention. more

Must Read!! Terrible Customer Service! 2/17/2008

If your having cardio/heart issues u would assume it is pretty serious. I was refered to them a week and a half ago and they still haven't called. I tried to follow up on 3 occasions and i have still not recieved a call back.\r I have chest pains and a shortness of breath and these people can't even return a phone call.\r I am only left to find another cardiologist... thanks Jerks!\r Pros: N/A Cons: Terrible service more
