Every time I go to Redner's I'm surprised with how bad their meat department is run. When buying lunch meat, you have to specifically request for your meat to be sliced. If you don't, they'll give you the pre-sliced crap that could have been sitting in the case for days. Then when you go down to the red meat section, I often notice green or brown spots on the meat. Since I never see this at other stores I can only assume it's because meat is left on their shelves too long. The price of their meat isn't competitive, either. You could go down the street and get fresh meat from Price Chopper for about the same price. They do occasionally have good sales but for me it's not worth the hassle of having to shop at a different store for meat that won't make me sick.
