Never go with Redi national 7/25/2014

I had Racoons in my yard and I called Redi National to get rid of them. These guys could not catch the raccoons although they promised to do that when they came in initially. They just drove them to my neighbor's house and the amount that they charged is more than double. Later on, when I tried to discuss this with them, the guys were extremely rude. Suggestion: never go with these guys. They are downright expensive and rude. more

I just want to thank all of you who could barely give Redi-National one star. I was very naive and trusted them, only to find out they have done nothing during the past 6 years to prevent my rodent problem. I was not only stuck with their initial $7,000 clean-out fee but now have hired a reputable company-----It will be $5,000 + to start over because of Redi's lack of service. I agree with all of your one-star comments, I believe the problem lies with the owners/ management. It is a scam, please do not hire this company! more

I call this company for ants problem, they sold me a package to prevent and eliminate the problem. Many words and no work. when I wanted to cancel the contract elsewhere mentions that should pay 60% of the package per year to cancel. The contract says something and they make you feel like it. The customer service bad. This is the worst service, I do not recommend it to anyone. If you want to feel angry, becoming frustrated and powerless, this would be the best place for you. seriously you do not want to go through this. Waste of time and money. more

Expensive, but very professional 1/24/2012

We awoke to the sound of a rat that had fallen down into the wall void from the attic. I called Redi-National and they had someone there to inspect within a couple hours. Turns out that we had quite a large infestation up there, so we decided to do a full clean out. To my amazement, 4 guys came a few hours later and did all the work that day. It was expensive, but the guys were very professional and did an awesome job (especially their leader, "Red"). They sealed up all the holes, removed all the old insulation, vacuumed up all the feces (which took hours), and put in new, higher R-value insulation. We've done a few check-ups and it seems to have worked. I would recommend them, especially if you need something done quickly, but if you have time, you might want to get some other bids, as I suspect they are on the expensive side. more

Good: Guaranteed their work in May came to house once to work inside, then charged monthly for outside work. By January more ants were in house than when I had them come out in May. They did zero on my insect problem and charged me $65.79 for monthly spraying that kept insects in the house. I was a sucker urge you not to be.. more

I worked for these crooks for a year. How do you keep a contract? Answer, dont fix the problem and lie through your teeth. These people treated us like slaves and paid a slave wage. Only job I had where i cried on the way to work every day. I feel sad for the poor employees every time I see a redi truck on the road. more

At these Apartment I manage we are unfortunately on our 2nd round of Bed Bugs. A couple of years ago, we had our first outbreak and it was a bad one. The infestation was contained to one unit, with the help of your company, the issue was dealt with promptly and then with a long term plan during which we left the unit empty. However, this 2nd outbreak has been ominous and difficult to treat because it is so under the radar in the sense that it is such a slight, yet, persistent outbreak. The tenant who rents this second unit is a low income single young mom who is sincerely doing the best she can for herself and especially for her children. She doesn't understand the fullness of the problem or her part of the treatment plan or that she introduced the infestation into her unit. Because she introduced the infestation, she is being held responsible for the treatment costs according to her lease. She is fed up with it all and wants to move. i have told her of the graciousness of your company! I told her that you have, out of gracious kindness, refused to charge her for the second fumigation -where you also treated the carpet and a possible flea infestation. Thank you for blessing my tenant by sheltering her from costs which would make her financial life unmanageable and unbearable! So, this is a letter of than you! On the tenant's behalf and for making me able to extend your graciousness towards her, I want to thank you for going above and beyond in this difficult case! I want to thank the receptionists who have answered my many phone calls and desperate pleas with continued patience, and Julia Dennis, and Phil for their many, compassionate and repeated trips into this same unit, and the company, in general, for encouraging compassion, understanding and flexibility. I hope to never have to call you company again (!!!); but if I do, I know that my needs will be handled with empathy and with an attitude that will keep me as a continued and loyal customer! I have been awake listening to rats gnawing in my house at night-lights and TV blaring. I emailed redi national and within an hour (this was on a Sunday) I received a phone call. The next day the inspector,Julia, came and did a thorough evaluation. Julia was so professional and supportive. She wrote up a proposal that I could afford and made a phone call. Within the hour a technician, John Houston, appeared. He went to work outside in the dark , on a ladder, screening the vulnerable entry points for rats and setting up bait traps throughout the perimeter of the house. Then he built a door to seal off the crawl space. John worked well into the evening settiing the necessary traps inside. That was Monday-this is Wednesday. Last night I slept without lights and TV=peacefully. Professional, friendly, skilled are adjectives that come to mind. Thank you Redi National. Wendy more

I think you guys made the biggest mistake in history in your choice to let David go. He is a great employee and does a awesome job every time he comes out to take care of my pest problem. he is always smiling and has a great attitude not matter what he is doing even if I ask him to do something extra last minute. more

BEWARE!!! 5/6/2010

I Paid almost $4000 to have a rat issue dealt with. Not only did they not complete all items on the contract with regards to dealing with the contract, they charged double on my credit card!!!! It has been two months and they have yet to clean up the mess, feces, dead rats etc, etc, etc.. Do NOT use this company. Even after multiple complaints to the company managers and the BBB, I am no where. At least I know I'll win the legal battle. more

Last summer I bought a house with no insulation in the crawlspace. I had Redi-National out to do the work. The employees were pleasant, the work done in an efficient manner, and when I mentioned the cost to a friend who had done insulation work in the past I was told the price was quite reasonable. However the best part was my heating bill this winter. My mother's bill house is uninsulated and despite being smaller, running on a cheaper heat source, and being occupied less frequently (and by someone who doesn't occasionally forget to turn the heat off when she leaves for work, a bad habit of mine) her bills were over double what mine were. I've probably saved every penny I initially spent and am now recommending she do the same. more

Crawlspace Cleanout 3/7/2010

I called Redi National after another company who was working on the plumbing let us know of a rodent problem. Of course we had no idea what to expect or do. Redi National arrived at my home and took me throught the whole process, even providing photos of the contaminated crawlspace. The workers were "Great" in taking care of our home, leaving it even cleaner than when they started. Their knowledge of various rebates also saved us money. I recently purchased a new home and got an alarm company and pest control company to protect my investment. I am so glad i used Redi National , the man that came to my house was kind and professional! I will continue to use them for my pest prevention they have delivered me more than they promised! I would advise anyone to call Redi for pest problems. more

Run-around 6/23/2009

I wish I had read reviews of Redi National before I spent two years on contract with them. I was desperate to be rid of a dead rat in my attic and others getting in. The technician who came out was great as was the one who set up the traps for maintenance. Since then the service has been lackluster. But when it came time for me to cancel my service (no rats, and I can handle the maintenance cheaper on my own)they have gone out of their way to avoid me. I've been consistently told that I have to speak with the sales manager who is never available and will call me back. I waited 2 weeks the first time before I tried again... "I'm sorry he's not here". Now it's come to, "he's here but wants to leave, I'll have him call you back." At this point, I'm just going to stop paying the monthly bill and file a complaint with the BBB to have it on record. more
