Although it has a variety I just don't get how someone donates something and these stores get to price an item that is years old as if it came in new. The purpose is so that people that can't afford pricey items can come and find something to fit in. Over priced and nothing is seperated by size. to time consuming. more

I diamond in the rough 6/24/2006

This is one of the best thrift stores that I have ever been to. The store is always packed full of stuff. The items are priced great and the selection is pretty good. A lot of the clothes that are in my daughters closet come from this store and most are name brand and look like new. I would rather spend a little money on a lot of things than a lot of money on a few items. As far as thrift stores go this is the cream of the crop. more

Lost treasure 3/22/2006

I love this store. It is located on route 51 just south of the liberty tunnels. Getting off route 51 into their parking lot is a little tricky. They have very limited parking and it seems to be all filled whenever I get there always. The is big and is always stocked full. They get a lot of their stuff from the Vets that have trucks that go around all the Pittsburgh neighborhoods and pick up people's discards for free. They have clothes, toys, furniture, glassware and everything else in between, Almost everything is used. They carry books, tapes, cd's and shoes. You can find anything there. more

Used items 10/30/2005

This store is very large.It has a selection of clothing, housewares and jewelry.Some things look like they are antiques.The store is somewhat dingy but they have a lot of items priced inexpensively. I like to use this store to shop for Halloween costume items without spending a lot of money. more
