Red Lobster

My wife and I don't get to Boise often, but when we do we love to eat out at the Red Lobster. Almost every year we go there getting the biggest lobsters we can. This last time we went (03/26/11) we walked in a few steps behind another couple. The couple in front of us were greeted and given their buzzer for service. We waited in front of the hostess as she fumbled with some papers for her to get to us. Another couple had entered and she greeted them gave them their buzzer. At this point out loud I said "We don't get a buzzer I guess" from eight feet away she should have heard that subtle remark. Another minute had passed and another couple entered. She greeted them and gave them a buzzer and at this moment I said "Well we must be invisible" to which the hostess just looked down at her papers again never making eye contact at all. Now yet a moment later more people arrived and the hostess greeted them and gave them their buzzer and getting very angry at this moment just blurted out some foul language and left. NEVER to return again!! more

Good: the big lobster. Bad: drinks were terrible, nothing in them we have got the specials 4or5 different times and never agin.. will we do the specials they show this pic. of a big fluffy lobster and when you get it they have cooked it to death on a grill YUK..... Improvements: better drinks, make the specials so they are not dried up and tuff HORRIBLE nasty........ Other: the service was great, just nasty food....... more

Red Lobster is THE place to go if you want good seafood. We love just about everything there. Be prepared to wait an hour or so, though, if you go on a Saturday night. The restaurant is kept clean, even the restrooms are pretty clean. The staff is usually very friendly and patient with kids. You have to try the calamari & clam strip appetizer – so yummy! more

AS A BIG SEAFOOD LOVER I AM ALWAYS TRYING THE RESTAURANTS AROUND TOWN THAT SPECIALIZE IN THIS. SO FAR RED LOBSTER IS THE PLACE TO BE. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS WONDERFUL AND FRESH AND SERVICE EXCEPTIONAL. more
