My husband and I went to this restaurant tonight for dinner. It is basically a BBQ place with a Bluesy atmosphere, like New Orleans or the South. It was a very nice place, clean and the service was good.
We order the large sampler platter and it was very, very large and full of delicious stuff. There were cheeses, dips, catfish strips, onion straws, sausage peices, hot wings and banana peppers. It was great.
The cornbread and the butter both with the bread and the cinnamon butter with Chris's baked sweet potato were awesome.
What I really went there for in the first place, the sweet potato fries, were not a disappointment. Great taste.
However, the southern green beans were over cooked and kind of tasteless. The meat wasn't real flavorful as you wouldn' t imagine, we think it was because of the wide assortment of BBQ sauces at the table they figure you are going to put on anyway.
All in all I would definitely give it a thumbs up and would like to dine there in the future for sure.
