This ""Mr. Wallace"" is also selling on EBAY! DO NOT buy anything from this scam artist! We purchased a lower unit part for our Mercury boat motor, which he never shipped. I emailed him numerous times thru EBAY saying ""Hey, we need our part you promised to ship via priority mail, where is it? have you sent it? what is tracking number"" We NEVER got a reply! It took us a week to get our $149.95 back from him through EBAY. This guy should be banned from EBAY! I am thankful we don't live by his Marina, from the reviews I read above mine, he sounds like a real piece of crap. Karma will get this guy eventually, I hope. Shame on him!!! more

Beware of Lake Ray Roberts Marina and Mike Wallace! 7/26/2010

I kept my boat at Lake Ray Roberts Marina. I was never asked to sign an agreement. Over the year two years that my boat was at the marina ?.one year of it was spent in the marina?s repair garage. Pros: Nice lake with no crowds Cons: Not enough room so read below more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! 7/20/2010

If you are looking for a place to rent a slip, don't come to Ray Roberts Marina unless you are looking for abuse! This guy is unbelievable. He charged us for repairs that he didn't do on the boat and then demanded payment. Said her would chain our boat up if we didn't pay the bogus charges. Until they get rid of this guy, you might want to stay away. Unfortunately, there are no other marinas on Ray Roberts so he has been able to get away with this for quite a while. Pros: Nice Lake Cons: Manager Mike Wallace is a Class A Jerk! more

Trapped 5/8/2009

Beware of the entrapment practices by Mr Wallace at this Marina. I have leased a slip there for many years and now that I wish to move my boat to another marina he refuses to provide haulout services, forcing me to hire a crane and have my boat lifted out at a public pier at big cost. He is the only marina on the lake and will charge you whatever he wants for services. He also has a hidden clause in the lease contract stating that if you sell your boat he gets a 5% commission for doing nothing!! You have been warned!! Cons: Entrapment Practices more
