BEWARE, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I took my brand new Honda Pilot to the Rapids Express wash on S. Cooper. Not only did the car wash not clean the vehicle, but it also placed a 3"" scratch on the hood. When I informed the manager, Gerry, he was very unhelpful, and almost to the point of being rude. Stated that there was no way the car wash could have scratched my vehicle all the way to the metal, and that there was nothing they could do about it. He didn't even offer to walk thru the car wash or anything, not even take a picture of the damage. I had to call the corp office who asked me to take the vehicle over to another location in order that they could take a picture of the damage. Left several messages for the owner, who finally called after leaving 5 messages. He stated they are not responsible, that I could take it up with their insurance company. He was almost to the point of being rude himself. I am now in process of pursuing the claim, between $750-$850 to fix the vehicle thru small claims court. Would not recommend taking any car to this wash, as they don't accept responsiblity for problems with their equipment. In their eyes, the customer is always wrong. The owner instantly took his manager's side, stating that he had been there over 3 years and knew what he was doing. Upon checking tax records, the deed date shows the owner has only owned the property since 3/2/2007. BEWARE....USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
