The first time I used Raleigh Take Out, everything was fine - timely delivery, hot food, friendly delivery guy.
However, last night was a different story. I was quoted 45 min. After an hour and 15 minutes, I called Raleigh Takeout. The snotty young girl who answered said flippantly ""He should be there any minute"". No big deal...sometimes they get lost, and my house does get passed easily. However, after another 20 minutes passed, I still did not have food. I called them back, and they were CLOSED. Seriously?? I left a voicemail telling what happened with my name and number...no one called me the next day.
I called them at 1 PM and told what happened. The guy's response was ""wow that's weird""... He did tell me that they zeroed out my order, and I was not charged. (I will be checking up on that!) He made excuses for them and said ""sometimes they get delayed and the order never goes out..."" I mentioned that it would have been cool if someone had called and let me know, but he honestly did not seem to care.
I wasn't looking for a freebie or gift certificate (though that would be nice), but I never once even got a half-heatred ""sorry about that""...nothing! I am normally one of those ""too nice"" people who never complains, but this was just BS! I've worked in many a restaurant and this is NOT customer service. Big thumbs down to these jerks!
