my girlfriend and i brought our baby boy (7 year old lab) for a check-up the usual bloodwork indicated he needed to be put on an expensive vet diet and thyroid meds. we did this for several months my dog hating the food and pills forced on her everyday. i asked dr.hall if this was permanent, if my dog was going to be with this illness and the meds the rest of his life, she said if you want him to live he'll have to take the meds and special diet food from us.
being a second opinion person i took my dog to another vet for a routinje check-up and bloodwork. they told me everything fine , i explained the results from the last bloodwork they said hypothyroidism does not correct itself ,the dog has it for life if the dog has it !! and that my dog did not have any sign of the diease . this all happened 2 years , since then my baby has had more bloodwork all ,thank God, has shown no signs of problems.. i just recently heard of citysearch as a way for the little people to have a voice. i'm always going to do research before entrusting my loved ones or my financial well being to blind greed,, i want as much info as i can get..
Pros: front staff were nice
