I would’ve given it an overall 2 ½. We got large portions, of rather mediocre food (I generally refer to this sort of place as a “Portion Palace”). The scallops were terribly undercooked, and both the filet mignon and prime rib were a bit tough and somewhat tasteless. The ambiance was nice. The bar seemed pleasantly lively and cozy, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The service was not great, but our waitress did make an effort.
The “No Tank Tops” sign at the entrance seemed out of place. The soup was tasty. We obtained our salads via their self-service salad bar, and while it was reasonably fresh, there was a very limited selection. This place should use linen napkins! Basically, when we pay $16-25 for entrées in Northeastern Pennsylvania, we do expect better. We may very well go to their bar for drinks and to try a sandwich, in the future.
Pros: Nice Bar
Cons: Poor Quality
