We were on vacation in the Chicago area, and realized that we were not that far away from our favorite vacation spot yet! We went to this beach 2 years ago and the kids could not get enough of it. We went back and did the same things. This city beach is great. The water was pretty warm and the breeze was great. There are nice shower houses as well as a snack shop. Life Guards are on duty and the sand was great!
Make sure you also hit the zoo and go to see the lighthouse. Racine is a great place to sit back and relax. I am so glad we got to return to this place again!
