RACHELE ROSE DAY SPA

This was a gift to a friend for her birthday, we went in and from the begining everything was great. The atmosphere of the salon was so calm and relaxing. This was my friend's first time at a spa and she loved it. Thanks to the staff who made that evening a perfect one! more

The spa is close to many towns & communities but it does not provide a feeling of being away from it all due to location in office building and street noise. Services were of quality = to market fair and booking was easy. more

I had a massage and facial. As other reviewers have noted, my services were shorter than advertised, but the manager as well as the facialist Jaime, both were extremely pleasant. My massage therapist, however, was lacking in the interpersonal skills department. Upon entering the room, she simply said "face down" and walked out. When she came back in, she immediately started the massage. No questions about my likes and dislikes, injuries, pregnancy etc... While the massage was perfectly adequate, it lacked the healing, relaxing aspect I love about a good massage with a holistically minded therapist. It was more like the perfunctory, going-through-the-motions rubdown you would expect at a nail salon. Unlike other reviewers I did not find the space soothing or relaxing. The lounge was packed with women, two of them in street clothes taxting or talking on cell phones, which made the lounge feel like a Metro North waiting area. The changing/bathroom is small and narrow with only one sink, so if you were planning to shower and do your hair and make-up there before leaving you are out of luck. I would come again for maintenance, but would go elsewhere for realxation. more

But I just got back from two weeks in sun and ocean, and my skin is so dry, cracked and flaky that nothing was helping. So I set out just looking for something inexpensive; not looking for the whole "pampered spa-day experience," just looking to try to fix this situation. \r . I got pampered anyway. I was pleasantly surprised to find this little spa 15 minutes from White Plains. I talked with the technician there, Jaimie, who looked at my skin issues and recommended the best treatment. \r . She really knows her stuff. She figured out the best kind of treatment for me - did NOT try to up-sell the most expensive treatment. I ended up with a Honey Almond Body Scrub and facial combo; a combo that cost about the same as ONE treatment at most other spas. \r . Jaimie was very thorough. I wasn't rushed or more

I took my neice for her first teen facial last month. I went for a Swedish Massage. It was fantastic!!! The rooms are larger than most of the massage rooms I've been in. My therapist, TW, was fantastic. He was professional and thorough. As for my neice....she said her skin was soft for days after. She is looking forward to a return visit. more

The facial was absolutely wonderful, but shorter than advertised, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Spafinders listed and confirmed my appointment for a 75 minute European Basic/Deep Cleansing Facial. The Spa itself list it as a 60 minute facial. It turned out to be about 40 minutes instead of the full hour I was expecting. A bit of a let down to an otherwise wonderful experience! more

I had an amazing facial.\r She used a coconut cream that smelled amazing and made my skin feel so great. I bought it after my facial and use it all the time.\r \r Very clean and relaxing. \r Friendly staff. more

I tried this spa for the first time through the spa finders $50 deal. This is now one of the spas on my will try again list. The massage was great. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The atmosphere is soothing and peaceful. I would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable spa to give Rachele Rose a try. more

From the moment I entered this spa I was most impressed with the attention and personal service I was paid by the friendly staff. I was escorted into and shown around the cozy locker room where I found an equally cozy( I bought one for home!) robe in the locker. I then went to the zen like lounge with comfy couches and an assortment of teas and water available while waiting to transition from the real world to the delight of one of the many treaments Rachel Rose Spa has to offer. I have had 4 massages and a facial and have been happy with them all. What I personally like about this spa is that it is comfortable and friendly , not imtimidating at all. I definitly recommend you give it a try. You will be glad you did more

The facilities are on a smaller scale but the amenities are still great. No steam shower afterwards but truly one of the best deep tissue massages I have had in a good long while. The receptionists and owner were so attentive and sweet. The place is lovely and very comfortable. Ask for Maria - she has amazing hands! I took my friend for her birthday and it was worth every penny - highly recommend it!!! more
