I too used to like Queen Anne Vision Clinic but something happened a few years back. I've had so many problems but I've kept going back hoping things would improve. I think I've finally given up. At my last appt. they couldn't get their equipment to work so it ended up taking 45 minutes longer than usual. The woman who placed the order for my glasses mixed up the paperwork w/ the perscrip for my contacts so I had to wait and extra couple of weeks for my glasses. This also meant I took an extra trip there for nothing. I've had to call them, to find out if my glasses/contacts were ready, for several years because no matter how many times I've tried they can't seem to get my phone # updated (they still as of today had my phone from 10 yrs ago). The glasses I've ordered for the past couple of years had a layer of UV coating that has peeled and become unbearable. Apparently this would be covered under warranty but I wasn't told this until I had paid for a new pair of lenses (no change in perscription) and I've received no refund. For the new pair I requested no coating but it has happened again. Last and probably least but annoying none the less, when I called today to make an appointment I was told, hastily at the end of the call, that there would be a $50 charge if I canceled my appt. inside 24 hrs of the designated time. I don't typically cancel appts...but I have never had a doctor's office tell me something like this. It seemed kind of rude when I was just about to give them one last chance...so I'm done!
