Q Shack Catering

I used the Q Shack for a surprise birthday party for 60 people. I was worried because my original contact left Q Shack before the party took place, but my worries were unfounded. Simon and Pamela did a wonderful job of setting up and cleaning up, and put us at ease regarding the complications of setting up in small rooms. My only words of advice to them would be that they could improve communication, given the transition from one catering manager to another. But the food was terrific, the service personable, and the employees proactive. I wish I had another party coming up so I could use them again! more

We had the Q Shack cater our wedding of 150 guests. The Q Shack offered us a full service catering; covering all rentals; linens, napkins, glasses etc… They also supplied us with alcohol, appetizers, the buffet, and desert. They were also nice enough to setup decorations for the reception. There were two Q Shack employees that were at the event. They did a great job of serving our guests alcohol and keeping the buffet full of great food! Our guest were ranting and raving about the mac and cheese and the banana pudding! Tom and his staff did a great job. Tom’s full service catering allowed us to only work with one vendor; which made things so much easier. The Q Shack was also VERY affordable; this was important to us because we(the bride and groom) were 100% funding the wedding. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. The Q Shack played an integral part in making this day a memorable one! Thanks Q Shack! more

The Q-Shack catered our wedding and it was truly incredible. Literally, anything we asked for, he was able to make happen. He even came up with things not part of his typical menu. The room was decorated beautifully too. The food was amazing and Tom made it look effortless and is a really hard worker. We love that he buys locally and supports other local businessmen. I would highly recommend him and think he's the best caterer around. We paid a very reasonable price for high quality food and our guests loved it. It was a nice way to have a larger wedding without sacrificing our budget. After all, who doesn't love good BBQ and hushpuppies? Pros: great owner, very accommodating, quality food more

I really have to disagree with the previous post. My family and I eat at the Q-Shack once a week and have always had positive experiences. They have catered parties at my home as well as my office and the service is always prompt and friendly. Being a Texas native, the biggest draw to the shack for me is their delicious and authentic BBQ that is really hard to find in this area. Brisket tastes like it came from my favorite restaurant in Dallas! It is served fast, but still fresh. Not only is the food great, but the employees. I regularly use them for large office orders and the food is always ready when I pick it up and I am in and out fast which is good when on a busy work schedule. Having my hands full one trip, an employee that was not even on the clock carried my order out to my car.
