We have used Pump It Up Service twice now on our well pumps. Service has always been fair but this last time we had them out and I wanted to get comparable prices and after they gave us a bid I called around and got a better price and with someone that can start same day (since we were out of water). I figured they would charge a service charge for their time so I tried to call and get that fee but they never got back to me and it should be a simple flat fee but the lady on the phone never told me what it was. I did not realize it would be $140 but since they could not tell me that price when I had them on the phone and once they knew I was going with someone else they really stuck it to me. I run a business and I do not charge for estimates and I understand that some companies do....I just prefer to know that up front. Am I asking to much????
