Profiles Salon and Spa

I have noticed this salon for some time, finally decided to stop in on my lunch break yesterday. Lezly was wonderful, she shaped up my long layers & made me very comfortable. She listened & didn't get scissor happy with me! Thank goodness! I am going back next week to let her put highlights in so I will be summer ready! I have been getting my hair done at Profiles for about 15 years by Jac and what can I say? He is wonderful, always has a smile on his face and always willing to take that extra step to please you. Anyway, my husband gave me a gift certificate from Profiles as a Christmas present, I decided to use it toward a facial. I have had a few facials while on vacation, but nothing like this! Jennie was so kind and sweet, she took the time to ask me questions about my skin and skin regimen, then did a skin analysis. The ensuing facial was soothing and relaxing. I didn't want to leave the bed! more

As I was on my way to Party City I noticed a salon next door & while I was shopping I started thinking that I really would like a new hair style, so I stopped in. I was warmly greeting by a pretty young lady & she said she had someone available for me. I told the hairdresser what I thought I might like, he said that would fit my face very well & he said I should get a few highlights to really accentuate it. I love the new me & so does my family, especially my mom, so I called & got her an appointment with the same guy who did my hair. She has curly, baby fine, thinning hair, so she was a little concerned, he gave her a wonderful hair style & a new color. She is very happy as well. We both will be loyal customers & hope my sister & sister-inlaw will go there too. more

I am new in town & checked out the reviews at Orlando City Search & liked what I read about Profiles, so called & got an appointment with Jamyl. She is awesome! I had let my hair go with trying to get settled in & also I was a little worried about trying someone new! She gave me awesome highlights & a great long layered haircut. I love this salon. I went in for what I thought was gonna be the average haircut that I usually get when I go to other salons... but little did I know, that I was gonna be leaving with a really awesome Fo-hawk! The stylist James did it for me, he even suggested it and I love that type thinking... out of the box. My hair looked totally sweet. The chick at the front desk was the best though, let me explain. She suggested the type of gel to use and even gave me some sweet info on styling and stuff. I've been going to Profiles for years and the former owner (Dennis) did my hair and always made fun of me when I would come in to have him fix my color from trying to go somewhere in Lake County. Well I went to see Jesse for one of my "fixes" and I will never go anywhere else again. She a fabulous job- she got the foils so close that I look like I have blond hair growing out of my scalp and the cut was perfect! I felt like a movie star when I left! It's worth the drive! And I love the Caviar shampoo and conditioner! Thanks a million Jesse! Pros: Jesse spent a lot of time making sure she understood what I needed! Cons: The drive from Lake county is a small sacrifice for such great work! more

I was a customer of Yeti's for many years, then I lost touch with him. I just recently found him again at Profiles. He is so sweet and as always gave me a great cut & color. I like the salon, it felt warm & friendly. more

I moved down from to Florida from New York City 7 years ago and have been consistently frustrated with local salons. Not true of Profiles. A friend of mine who knows how much I miss my Manhatten salon sent me to Profiles and I haven't been this happy in a long time. They are undergoing a few changes due to new ownership, but it was the first time in seven years that I didn't have to listen to the stylist gripe and complain through my whole service. They were friendly without being overbearing and had a nice selection of products for sale but didn't pressure me to buy anything. I got a great color and and an awesome haircut, from a stylist I won't mention until I try them again to make sure it wasn't a fluke! If you are from the big city and miss a nice trendy and professional experience without all the Florida drama, Profiles might be the place to try! Pros: Professional and timely service - Good selection of products to take home Cons: They carry Redken which I can buy at my local 7-11! What's up with that? more

My family is new to Orlando and I saw Jesse at Profiles for the first time after a really disappointing experience Friday morning at another salon. She did some beautiful highlights and then I got a great cut that made me feel like I really had "style". She really understood what I was going for and totally delivered! We even talked about what I could do with my hair for a special occassion I have coming up. I want to recommend Jesse to all my friends! more

Stopped for a smoothie in Herndon Plaza and sent my shaggy and reluctant husband to Profiles salon for a "clean up". When I came back a half hour later I found him with an ice cold Heineken, laughing and yucking it up with a stylist who had given him the updated look I always dreamed of! He has never looked so good and taken so much pride in his appearance! Everyone was happy and friendly and smiling and really seemed to care about what they were doing. No moody artistic angst to be found in this salon! Kudos to the staff at Profiles for "keeping it real"! Pros: Friendly, Outgoing, Fast without being rushed and agreat Haircut more

Finally got the courage to make a change in my haircolor and took a chance on Jesse at Profiles Salon. Got in with very little waiting and got the best highlight and haircut I've ever had. She listened to what I had to say and not only gave me what I asked for, but did it in a reasonable amount of time and without breaking the bank! I am so happy to have long shiny healthy hair that is the perfect color blond! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was like being amoung friends. It was so nice to be at a salon where the stylists aren't rude and pushy! I was even offered a glass of wine! A+++ for service in every way! I recommend Profiles and Jesse to everyone! Pros: Attentive Service, Friendly and knowledgable receptionist, No waiting! Cons: NONE more

I just recently had hi-lights & low-lights put in my hair by James. He was extremely friendly and very knowledgable. I came in and he introduced himself to me and asked me what I wanted to do. I explained what I wanted and he said that it sounded great to him. I was very surprised, because at past salons the stylist usually tries to push want they want to do to your hair instead of what you really want. He was very helpful with products and what would be best for my hair type and how exactly to use certain products. My hair looks the best it ever has, it's very shiney and smooth & soft and exactly the colors I wanted. All in all, he was very nice & personable, the atmosphere was good and I can't wait to come back to see him again! I would highly recommend getting your hair done with him! I just had my hair highlighted & cut by Jac, he was wonderful! He listened to what I wanted, then made a few suggestions. My husband loves my new look & I have had quite a few compliments from friends & co-workers. It is under new ownership & they are in the process of remodeling. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves & it had a warm atmoshere. I will definitely go back & I would highly recommend Profiles. I had a terrible experience at this salon .The receptionist was very rude and the Hair Stylist damaged my hair and gave me dandruff from his dirty brush not too mention that he was too vulgar talking about his gay life.I don't remember his name but he was short with green/blue eyes . more

After trying several high-priced salons in orlando, my sister and I were referred to an Italian trained stylist named Gianmichael at Profiles. WOW! He did the best corrective color and hilites I ever had, and my sister got the incredible thermal ionic relaxer Gianmichael pioneered at HALF of what other salons cost.
