Most of the time the coverage for scripts are good, but when it comes to the very necessary drugs, there is a pre approval process and they try to have you take an alternative approach. Explanation: I've had cystic acne since I was 15 years old. I'm 51 now, tried several treatments and failed. This includes all what Priority Health requires a person do prior to paying for meds like Accutane. My Doctor and I wrote a letter of request for the medicine and was denied. I now have nodular acne on my scalp that has been for many years (some call them hair bumps) very painful and disruptive. Can't get hair cuts until they settle down enough.
