The only reason why they deserve 1 star is because the receptionists you deal with are actually really nice. They were horribly slow with any repairs and my lawn which was supposed to be mowed was never taken care of in the year I was there. I scrubbed the place top to bottom before moving out including fridge/oven etc, they claimed the place was a mess and that I had a cat (which Cindy claimed she saw when showing the place), this is a blatant lie as I am highly allergic to cats. After being passed around and getting nowhere with this company, I was passed off to Faye who I called to talk to several times but with no response. They provide "bills" for what they take out of the deposit but they don't list what was actually done or justification for anything, they also won't allow you to do the final walk through with them. Their contractors or prestige rips you off. Do not do business with them more

I recently sold a home in Auburn, AL and my selling agent was Michael Dean with John Rice's office and he was absolutely offal. The buyer's agent with Prestige Properties, Anna, was absolutely fantastic, coordinating their contractors to come in for estimates and even taking care of some things for me that my agent was too lazy to do. Anna is definitely a full-service agent! more

The staff is friendly and helpful in obtaining the property. Then once you're in it, you have to fend for yourself. If there's an animal carcass underneath your house that's rotting, resulting in a foul odor, they won't send someone over for at least a week. There are plenty of other rental companies in Auburn/Opelika to choose from that have much better customer service. PROS: none CONS: lousy, scary customer service more
