I would advise against choosing Presidio Real Estate as your property manager or as your landlord. I have rented from Presidio for about 3 months now. While I am pleased with the condition of our condo, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of services I have received from the rental office, particularly from Felix. When he showed us our apartment, I asked what the square footage was and he said, ""I don't know. Maybe 700?"" I looked it up online--593. He failed to give us our gate keys until 2 weeks after we had moved in (and told us he ""kept forgetting). He gave us our mailbox key, but told us he couldn't find the mailbox #. He told us he didn't know how to find it out and that we should call the post office. (I ended up walking to the office in our neighborhood, which is unaffiliated with Presidio, and they told me immediately.) Felix also gave us the wrong parking spot numbers, then ""resolved"" the issue with the homeowner's association. No, we still had the wrong spots and, again, I asked the neighborhood office and got the answer.
Most recently, I am unable to get maintenence issues resolved. I had a plumbing leak and called the emergency maintenence # and had to leave a message. I'm sure the homeowner of the property would not appreciate that their property manager didn't take care of it immediately, because it discolored part of the kitchen cabinets. Then, I had a small maintenence request. I put it in over 3 weeks ago, and never heard back. I tried again 1.5 weeks ago and actually talked to a person, and still never heard back. I went to the office the other day and was told that they ""weren't sure"" why no one had come out. Today, I called the office to check on the status and was told ""We gave it to a maintenence man and he should have called you. He didn't call you?"" This is ridiculous.
Overall, I would highly encourage you to rent somewhere else or to find someone else to manage your property.
