Joe at Prescott Flower Shop went on and on about how much of a better deal customers get when buying directly with local florists, so I was very excited to see my much better deal.
My order with Joe, including local delivery, totaled $71.00. I've bought flowers many times before, , so my expectations for this arrangement were very high.
When the flowers arrived, what I got was the equivalent of a $15. arrangement from Fry's or even less and smaller. I was extremely disappointed.
I called Joe, and explained to him that I was not satisfied with the arrangement. He suddenly transferred me to his wife, who had instant attitude, After acerbically berating me for my dissatisfaction, she told me she'd be picking up the flowers. I told her no, yet within 15 minutes my doorbell was ringing, the empty handed delivery man wanted my flowers.
When I called back I was once again treated to the acidic tongue of Joe's wife. When I told her that my plan was to place reviews of Prescott Flower Shop online, I was suddenly treated to an even more surly tall tale excuse version of what had ""really"" happened, as ""verified"" by the designer who was ""standing right by and heard every word"" of the wife's offer to replace the flowers I'd received with something more to my liking. That, of course, never happened, and shame on Mrs. Joe for involving her employees in her little intrigues with customers, it's shocking and shameful.
All I'd like to say now to Joe and his wife at Prescott Flower Shop is, the next time a customer expresses dissatisfaction, whatever you do or don't do, don't add to it with your bad attitude and manipulations.
And never, ever, ever use your delivery people to unintentionally aid you in harassing a customer, that's flat out outrageous of you. If you were planning on replacing the flowers, why didn't he have the replacement with him?
Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Abominable Customer Service-Stingy Arrangements
