They offer spinning, aquarobics, full range of fitness equipment and many classes. The quality of instruction has always been good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Pros:...

The parking is bad, the gym is in bad need of an update! The pool area needs a lot of work done on it, rust on the ceilings, and tiles missing.?! Water is dripping in the locker r...

Love this Place!! 12/8/2010

I am so happy to have found this gym! I've been a member for almost three years and absolutley love this place! The staff is friendly and they know you by your name. They offer a ton of stuff to keep my interest and keep me motivated. I love the aerobics classes- zumba, pilates, and yoga are favs. They also have all the standard fitness equipment, treadmills, bikes, weights, etc. The all women atmosphere makes this a comfortable place to workout and really focus on yourself. No meatheads and creepers here! more

Just like everything else ""WE SEE THINGS DIFFERENTLY"" 10/31/2010

Thank goodness we all have a different pair of eyes! I see in Premier Lady a community of women who are supportive of each other in health and wellness. Our goal is to encourage one another for the better good of our Bodies, Mind and Spirit. I diffently get that all the way around. The staff and teachers are always doing their best to meet the needs of each individual woman. All you have to do is ASK! and know what it is that you want out of your workout and overall health/fitness. This outfit has been around for a LONG LONG TIME for a reason. KNOW-SEEK-AND YOU SHALL FIND......Namaste my friends! see you in class! more

Dirty 7/19/2010

I was looking for a gym that, for a change, is clean. I assumed that since Premier Lady is for ladies only it would be cleaner than any other gym where guys are allowed : ) But I was so wrong! It is dirty, dust all over. Bathrooms have unpleasant smell to the point that I was holding my breath each time I had to use them, dead roaches in the corners, dirty equipment, you name it! Also watch out when you cancel your membership. They will make you send a certified letter to cancel your account. Make sure that you check if they received it and hold on to your receipt!! I had an issue with them continuing to charge my account because, apparently, they have not received my cancellation letter. Seven months after I left the gym I received a call from their collector telling me that I owe money for 2 recent months. After a heated discussion I figured that they called a wrong person! Different last name name, different address... . how they got my phone number mixed up with this person God only knows! They misplace cancellation letters, mix up members' data ... They are a mess not only on their fitness premisses but also how they handle your account. Pros: Ladies only if this is what you prefer Cons: Dirty, quite basic as far as equipment or classes. more

Really make it hard to cancel your contract 2/5/2010

I started my contract a with them 12 years ago and now I want to have a fitness center nearer my home. The process to cancel my membership (which was month to month after the first year) has been a nightmare. I have gotten two different sets of instructions about how to do it with neither of them saying that I could just come by the place and fill out the paperwork. I am still left with trying to get this done. NOT good at commuication. Getting my bank to change information and details of my checking and savings accounts was way easier! Just fax them...not Premiere Lady. Not a happy camper! Pros: all women Cons: not great at communication about contract more

Horrible Liers! 7/2/2009

This gym is a mess. It is dirty and is ran by teenagers. Pros: Good Parking Cons: Contracts are a scam more

Still the best bargain 8/21/2008

They offer spinning, aquarobics, full range of fitness equipment and many classes. The quality of instruction has always been good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Pros: Good bargain, pool, many classes, friendly staff Cons: None to speak of more

Great Place to Workout 6/19/2008

I've been a member of several gyms over the years and this one is by far the best experience I've had yet. I joined a few months ago because I was looking to get in shape and lose some baby weight. Not only have I started to see a difference, I feel great too! If you're looking for a place to workout, I highly recommend Premiere Lady Fitness & Spa. more

AVOID! SCAM ALERT! 5/14/2008

Don't be fooled, this place is just as big of a scam as all the other gyms! I was duped by these people. They try to be your ""friendly neighborhood gym"" but they are exactly like the others(24 hr and Gold's). They will talk you into a contract and imply it is easy to cancel when it is not! I lost my job and can no longer pay for my membership, but do they care? NO! Cons: old, can't end contract more

They lie to you 5/10/2008

I spoke to someone over the phone named Senta and agreed to sign up for a three month contract that I would be able to cancel at any time. Well it turns out that she lied and signed me up for a one year contract that now I'm being told I can not cancel. I am a trusting person and did not read what I signed assuming that I was getting what I was told when in fact I was tricked into signing up for a membership that I won't use. $30/ month down the drain; thanks, Senta for being so honest! I was told that I can bring my baby to childcare so that I can go to the gym but how can I trust them to take care of my child if I can't trust them to get a simple contract right? If you decide that for some reason this is the gym for you, make sure you read everything before signing your life away. You might be getting something totally different than what you are told so make sure you get it in writing. Good Luck! Pros: nothing comes to mind Cons: they lie to you, do not trust anything they tell you more

Well, the plus side is that it is a women's gym - so you can let it hang out 4/13/2008

I was a member of this gym for about 3 years. It has a lot of good points, especially the yoga. Affordable and relaxed. Some yoga teachers I really liked quite a lot. The yoga at Premier Lady is great for someone who is looking for a more non-structured, relaxed class. This is very important if you are trying to do yoga to get back in shape, recover from an accident, or are older. Ive been to yoga classes that seemed almost militaristic in attitude which i hated, premier lady is an environment in which you can take what you need. more

gym needs to be updated 7/27/2007

The parking is bad, the gym is in bad need of an update! The pool area needs a lot of work done on it, rust on the ceilings, and tiles missing.?! Water is dripping in the locker room ceiling, and smells! The aqua class was ok...customer service is not good! Only thing i liked about the place was...the saunas...i was hoping to join, but now i have second thoughts, since i was told by the manager that this things do not seem to be a concern for the owner, and could not tell me if?, or when they may be fixed???? it made me very sad, and dissapointed!!! Pros: womans only gym Cons: place needs a lot work done!!! more

Even though the equipment is not be the newest out on the market this gym does offer a lot of value for the money, especially considering that this isn't one of the huge chain gyms, but a locally owned and operated business. The 2 locations in Austin are convenient, and both clubs offer a ton a classes. The fact that I do not have to pay extra for any of these classes (pool and spin classes are included along with everything else) is a HUGE PLUS. The staff is friendly and helpful - and their aerobics teachers are the greatest (Senta and Keri's classes are my favorite)! The clubs do offer tanning and child care at an extra fee, and the south location even has a salon on-site; prices for services are reasonable. Every once in a while they do offer members the option to sign up for pay-extra classes like Belly-dancing, and anyone interested can sign up. I have been a member of Gold's, Body Business, 24 Hour Fitness, and the ""Y"", and Premiere Lady is by far my favorite - personally I don't care if I am in an all-female or co-ed environment - because members are encouraged to be healthy and fit by the staff, and the staff is a wonderful representation of the meaning healthy and fit. Pros: Great teachers and trainers Cons: Need more locations more

Great place for women to workout 7/4/2007

I have been a member for 7 years. This is my best gym experience yet. Working out in an all women facility has been less intimidating. I definitely feel more comfortable and am more likely to go on those days that I just don?t feel like hitting the gym. My regular Saturday morning workouts are downright relaxing. I have found the staff to be friendly and quick to offer assistance. Having two locations has been great for me since one is close to my work and the other my home. They have enough stationary equipment so that there is rarely a wait, even in peak hours. The weight equipment is easy to use and the free weights are accessible with adequate space. There are lots of classes to keep one from getting bored with your workouts. The best part for me is that I renew my contract every year for the same price that I originally signed up for. Can?t beat that! Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Short Sunday hours more

This company has poor customer service. The facilities are broken for extended amounts of time. The gym is small and cramped. The machines are old and not very much to choose from. The Billing system is a nightmare. Not only did I have to find my voided check in a stack of old paperwork they had that they had never sent to the billing company. They also told me I could not cancel because they were switching Billing Companies. It took 3 visits and 8 calls to finally cancel my account. Now a year later I am receiving calls that a payment from over a year ago is not in their records and they want me to produce a payment. Their corporate office has no live person you have to talk to their answering machine. The actual locations will refer you to these answering machines rather than assisting you with any problems. On top of all the other reasons above for me leaving I'm including the fact that as far as saying they are a women's gym they Charge HUGE FEES for daycare. The normal gyms such as Gold's Gym, etc offer that free to members. The fees for Premier were twice the fees of my Gold's Gym and included free classes. Premier lady charged extra for many classes. DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THE NIGHTMARE because they will make it difficult to get out of their contract. You will not enjoy the run around that you recieve when you have a problem and the Answering machine at the corporate office will never resolve your problem. CHOOSE A BETTER GYM with a good staff, equipment and customer service. You will be very unhappy if you choose this company to work with. Cons: broken equipment, answering machine customer service run around, large daycare fees more

Great Place, Great People! 2/4/2004

I have been going here for over 2 years and not only has the facility grown and improved but the staff there is the friendliest! They have great classes and you don't feel like you are being judged. Their Personal Trainers are very well informed and helpful. I wish their parking weren't shared with HEB and had more facilities! Pros: Staff, No men, Many things to do Cons: , Not enough facilities more

Good Exercise 12/11/2002

I found it very good. I can work out, do yoga or other stuff, and its really not too crowded. more
