They said $1000 and 7 days for transmission work. Turned into $1900 and 13 days. Plus, they returned with a filthy interior (had to clean carpets and doors from all the grease and grim). On the drive home, I felt a noticeble clunking/banging from the front end. Checked it out, the front sway bar was disconnected on one side. While I was under there, coolant was dripping on me. Checked that out, and the less than 2 year old radiator cap was cracked. What the heck did they do, put a hammer to it?! Decided to check everything out, and the power steering reservoir was empty. I mean, a transmission shop couldnt put in 2 dollars of trans fluid in to top off the power steering (it mostly likely spilled out during the tow to the shop and power steering takes the same fluid as the trans). And on the same side as the disconnected sway bar endlink, the upper ball joint boot was missing. Not torn, not ripped, but completely gone. Which makes me furious because I had the front end rebuilt last October (less than 10k miles) and now that joint needs to come out, again. Of course they take no respondsibility for anything. Not the price, or the wait, the poor quality of services, and the newly broken parts. AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE ---- PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE
Pros: I got the truck back... eventually
Cons: Twice the price and twice the wait as quoted. Literally.
