I have recently found out that I have debt with this company. A Doctors bill was turned over to them for collection one that I can honestly say I did NOT know I had so when I received the collection letter I called to find out what it was about and I spoke with a very nice man told him I was unaware of oweing that bill and if i could check with my doctors office to see if in fact I did owe then I would call back and resolve the matter. Well that was on Thursday Dec.22,2011 when I got home on Friday and called my doctors office they were closed and would be closed until today Tuesday Dec. 27,2011 So anyway I called and spoke with the appropriate personel and lo and behold i do owe. So I get home from work and I get my collection letter and I call I have never been talked to by ANYONE the way this man today talked to me. I feel as though I asked an appropriate question which was My bill @ my Dr's. office is $271.66 and you guys are billing me for $362.20 Do I have to pay the full amount to resolve this matter or can I pay it @ the Dr's. office he said very rude you will still pay us the collection fee and I asked, even if you didn't do anything his reply again very rude your taking action after receiving our letter. I then told him I wasn't asking for his attitude and I did not appreciate him being and getting smart with me. I then asked him what percentage do they charge and he very rudely stated ""thats none of your business"". Well I beg to differ! You are trying to collect a debt that I do owe but you are charging me $91.04 which by the way is 33%. By this time my temper is starting to boil I don't like being talked down to I deserve the same amount of respect as anyone else so I asked could I speak to your supervisor he stated, ""I am the supervisor"", I asked can I speak to anyone else he stated "" there's nobody else here"", At this point I did not even know this mans name so I asked him are you Mr. Ron Gotti he is the credit manager according to my letter? He very rudely in a negative tone stated ""no I am not"", I asked can you tell me what time Mr. Gotti comes in he stated, "" no.... he makes his own schedule. I then asked him his name and he did say. I asked him what time could I call back and someone else would be there that could and would help me. He stated ""8 o'clock. I am just shocked that people treat and talk to people in the manner that he Ken Smith talked with me. And to think he gets paid for it. It just stands to reason with me that if you really were trying to collect a debt you would truly talk to people with a little bit of dignity and respect. Especially someone who called you the collection agency to resolve the matter as quickly as possible and yes I will submit a complaint to the BBB!!!!! After my conversation with Premier Financial & Credit Services I called my Dr's. office to let them know how this company has talked to me and to see how else I can resolve the matter. Especially after reading some of the other reviews. This definetly is not a company I would ever use!!!!
