Money was stolen and they didn't care....After my evening workout, I encountered a black man using the locker next to mine. He commented on what a good workout he had but I never saw in the gym nor did he appear sweaty. I stopped him as he was leaving and told him he left his clothes in the locker. Obviously, it wasn't his locker he was in. The next day when I was making a purchase, I discovered the $100 I had in my billfold was gone! I knew immediately who took my money. I called the gym and they said they would check on it and call me back. No one did. I called again and asked for the manager, same response. I contacted the general manager for the Omaha clubs and had a more receptive ear. He checked with Midtown Crossing and they knew who had been stealing and we were not the only victims. He was using a day pass. My wife's son managed Golds Gym and told us day passes are always suspect and that they take special precautions anytime they accept a walkin using a day pass. Evidently Prairie Life does not. They never reimbursed me nor did they offer any compensation. After my membership was up, I never renewed.
