OK, so the first time my wife went, she came back wanting to buy a plate. She loved it so much she was driving a hour to get there twice a week! So of course I had to try it out too. I was blown away by how fast I got to muscle failure-we we're doing rather simple exercises that (as a guy who thinks that weights are the answer to getting a good workout) I was thinking ""this is going to be a breeze."" I was SO wrong. Something as simple as lunges were hitting me hard after only like 5 reps! I can't imagine anyone thinking that you are going to get bulked up with this workout, but if you are looking to have an express workout that burns calories and improves muscle tone - I can't think of anything better. Pros: Get in, get out fast. Will rocks! Cons: feels like a spa more

Brentwood Gem 11/17/2009

I love this place- my wife had to drag me to it and then I realized it can be a prefect workout for both of us in the same class- the trainer was great and helped both of us with our strengths and weaknesses. We are now regulars and I am an official believer. Pros: Best Workout in LA more

Power Plate Studio is my new favorite workout spot in LA 11/17/2009

I saw the Fox segment on Power Plate this morning and decided to check it out on a whim today. It was a great workout and much harder than I expected! I am def coming back at least once a week. And you can get the package Lisa mentioned on the show- so cheap and so worth it! Pros: fast but challenging workout more

I had the best session at the Power Plate Studio with Will- it is such a beautiful place and offers a quick yet effective workout! I have been coming here for only one month and I already see the incredible changes in my body, inside and out. I love it, thanks Power Plate and Will!! But yet you are still working out for 30 minutes( FOR 50$ A SESSION!!!!) This is garbage. It doesnt work. It is only for those who are lazy who don't want to put the real time in and are only looking for a ""quick fix."" As a trainer in a real gym in North Hollywood I cant believe people are so blind to think this is a good thing. Oh btw, the guy who showed this device on tv did NOT get his body From this machine. He trained hard at a real gym for years which is what you are supposed to do. Once again.....GARBAGE! Pros: Nothing Cons: This ""gym"" is for rich women who have money to burn more

I just took my first Power Plate Class yesterday with Will and I recommend everyone to try it out. Will was very knowledgable about the machines and made sure that I was doing all of the moves correctly. Pros: 30 Min Class, Personal Attention more
