Pilates (which I started at the age of 48) has been a transformational part of my life. Just when most of my contemporaries are getting hip, back, and joint problems, I have developed more flexibility and range of motion than I've ever had! Right hip problems ""run in my family."" I don't have them. I know that it was Pilates that prevented them. I don't know what I'd do without it. I go twice per week when I'm in town. When I'm not, I do the mat workout in hotel rooms. It's a life saver. I plan to do it regularly until I die. Pilates is the ultimate mind/body workout. It changes not only one's body. It also changes the way you think. I can't recommend it highly enough. I shudder to think of what my body would be like now if I hadn't found Pilates!
