There are terrific buys to be had here...especially at Nordstrom Rack, the Gap Outlet, Ikea, Leggs/Hanes/Bali and a fairly large discount bookstore that includes best sellers, calendars, specialty books and, of course, remainders. Bargain shoppers could easily spend a whole day here. And if you really are that much into shopping, there are some OK - not luxury - but OK restaurants and hotels in the surrounding area. The only drawback to Potomac Mills, I find, is the crowds. You can't walk more than a few feet without someone jostling into you, and teen-agers like to come here to hang out. For me, it's annoying, but worth it because I love the stores....just something to consider. Parking is plentiful, but always crowded, and you'll have to drive -- there's no metro nearby. A great place if you enjoy shopping.
