My wife and I have been buying from the Potato Barn for 3 years. I was fun to see it grow and know of the success Greg and Marcy have enjoyed. The inventory has always been random and interesting, the prices are very fair and they have done a remarkable job making an old eyesore into something positive. Last week we went in to look for some items for our summer home. It had been almost a year since last time. The inventory was thinned out and not near as interesting. Greg was "too busy" to be bothered with customers and when we asked where Marcy was the answer was vague and had an unkind tone to it. We know times are tough for a lot of businesses right now but you'd think with that in mind, the attitude would be much more positive. The experience made us wonder if they are going to be around for much longer. I was just not a good experience and we may give it another try when we need something. We purchased someplace else. Too bad to see what was once a fun place to shop become just another place with bad attitudes.
