Editorial

  • Is it the Amalfi Coast or is it Philadelphia? Sometimes it’s easy to forget deep within this Mediterranean blue sanctuary that teases patrons with wall-sized photographs of the Med and décor that evokes the most romantic of Italian scenes. In what could be described as the most breathtakingly beautiful restaurant in Philadelphia, traditional Northern Mediterranean crudo is served with modern flair to patrons who recline in one of many distinct and airy wings that comprise this indoor/outdoor space designed to resemble the Amalfi Coast. Whether you’re hosting a rehearsal dinner, nuzzling tete-a-tete with a lover or clinking glasses with some friends, there’s a refreshing spot within the cavernous dining room, at the sleek main bar, or on one of several terraces raised above the street. And no matter where you sit in the spacious circular restaurant, you’re almost guaranteed to hear sighing each time a new patron replenishes their soul by inhaling, then exhaling into the vacation-like vista, all bathed in blue and white and accented with fresh flowers, vases full of lemons and striking decorative complements.
