It was Easter morning and I was in Portland needing an express taxi to Cliff Island. As usual i was running late, on the verge of family banishment for always being late for the family holiday dinner. I called a few express water taxis, none expressed much interest in my dilemma until I reached Capt John. The skipper dropped his fork and was at his boat within minutes. He cruised through the harbor like a well seasoned pilot. I sat comfortably in the passenger condemning myself for my being late. The skipper told me ""no worries"" as he glided up to the dock, i had 3 minutes to spare. Capt John really pulled through and got me out of a tough jam. Sorry to spoil your Easter capt but mine turned out to be wonderful, thanks to the skipper of Island water taxi.
