I first visited Dr. Shumate when I was having tooth pains and he got me an appointment the very same day and took care of the tooth quickly. He has been very great as I keep getting more teeth work done at his office. Everyone is very kind and accommodating and the whole office is very easy to be around. Porters neck dentistry was great with working around my schedule and financial needs. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist! - Christopher Buckner more

Awesome Dental Office 8/21/2011

I was made to feel welcome from the minute I walked in the door. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I was having a family crisis at the time and had to use the cell phone several times and they totally understood. Dr. Shumate just stopped what he was doing and allowed me to handle this emergency. Dr. Shumate and his team make you feel really welcome as their family member in this practice. I have the utmost confidence in his work. You will enjoy going to such a friendly office. I recommend this practice highly! more

Great Dentist 8/9/2011

The staff is very friendly and the easiest on my teeth and gums of any Dentist I've been to. They are thorough and you can watch whatever you want on TV while they are doing their work on you, sports, news, soaps, whatever. We're glad we switched to Porters Neck Dentistry more
