Unbelievable 5/7/2011

If you wish to be demeaned, belittled and denigrated this is the place for you. I have never been treated more poorly. My family was headed for a show in Anaheim. We found this place on the web and thought that it might be nice to stop before the show for a special quality wine. We had a child with us so we stopped at the sign ""no minors beyond this point"". We were then greeted with ""The restrooms are for customers only - do you intend on buying something?"" Well not with that tremendously personable greeting. Before any understanding was met the alleged ""owner"" came over and offered to call security. The place opened at 5pm but was still empty at 6pm... no wonder. The wine list was over priced for the quality of wine that they offered. The list on the door had a good selection but nothing very special. So basically their concept is to give you fair wine at premium prices. They figure you won't know any better and they certainly don't care. more

A great place to relax for the evening 1/31/2009

Ron and Lucille have a great place for a romantic date or for friends to spent a relaxing night out. They are wine lovers and are eager to share their finds with you. You can sit outside on the patio and people-watch, or sit inside to better enjoy the live weekend entertainment. Along with the wine, they now feature appetizers, sandwiches, and desserts. I love the Panini Caprese, and the chocolate truffles are delicious with a glass of Banfi Rosa Regale. They have a retail area, too, so you can take a bottle home with you or as a gift. more

Fantastic Wine Bar 1/5/2009

Owner Ron Kring at Pop the Cork truly practices customer service in his establishment. There was not a hint of ""wine snootiness"" in his staff, but rather they welcome guests as if they are family. His selection of affordable wines will compare favorably with establishments who do act this way. Wines can be purchased to drink there or at home. Wines from home can be consumed on-premise with a corkage fee. Patio space is offered to smokers (cigars also) so there is little excuse to not stay awhile and relax! Pros: Service more

Great selection 9/7/2008

This is a GREAT idea. A nice place to go for a glass of wine with some friends after work if you don't want the loud scene of a bar. There is a cigar shop on the floor below, near Bar Louie, with a great selection...so my boyfriend says. Great idea and really nice shopping center!! more

My wife and I walked there from our hotel at Disneyland to get away from all of the kids. It is a great place to try some wine and relax. more

Desperately needs help!! 7/21/2008

As a new establishment, a customer would expect, at the least, some kind of service! I went to Pop the Cork this past Sunday afternoon. There was about 4 different parties that had were already seated and had been served some kind of wine and snack. My party of 4 sat down just after a group of 8 was seated. As the larger group was given the utmost attention, my party was never greeted, looked at or even spoken too by any one of the three staff. Another group came in after us and sat on the patio. Another 10 minutes went by with still no sign from the staff that we existed. I was willing to give more time since it was new. Another five minutes passed and the older waiter noticed that the other party, who came in after us, was also getting tired of waiting and got up to leave. At that point he approached them with a menu and coerced them into staying. After waiting 20+ minutes for some kind of greeting and then being ignored to stop another party from leaving (who came in after us), my party got up and left. Pros: Nice area Cons: Horrible service more
