I lived in York for most of my life and am sometimes surprised to see locations that were right under my nose that I was completely unaware existed. One of these would be The Police Heritage Museum. They have a lot of historical information regarding the police, and that is nice but the big hit are examples of uniforms and equipment. I say the big hit, I mean for families with younger children, school age. My teenager would not have any interest in visiting the Police Heritage Museum, but if you have the right age group, could be a nice stop.
