Poblano Cocina Mexicana

We had a private party at Poblano's. Everyone is still talking about It. The food was delicious and very artistically presented.The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very charming. The sidewalk tables added a fun and relax atmosphere to the party.The service was excellent! I only regret not having had the mariachis. more

POBLANO'S TOOK ME AWAY. I DO NOT DO MEXICAN. AND I LOVED POBLANO'S. WHEN I THINK OF MEXICAN FOOD I THINK TACO BELL. TACO'S CHALUPAS AND MORE. POBLANO'S IS NOT A TYPICAL MEXICAN PLACE, THEY JUST USE MEXICAN FLAVOR TO IT'S BEST POTENTIAL. I HAD DUCK AT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT THAT WAS AMAZING. SERVICE WAS RELAXED, NOT OVERPOWERING ATTENTIVE, BUT THERE WHEN NEEDED, AND PRICES WERE GOOD. I'M ON ANTIBIOTICS SO I HAD A SODA (DIDN'T BOTHER LOOKING AT THE LIQOUR MENU) NEXT TIME. I have always enjoyed eating authentic mexican food, however I am rather picky about my restaurants because good mexican food is hard to come by. I was fortunate enough to come across Poblano Cocina Mexicana which had great authentic mexican food. I have nothing but great things to say about it. Nice hole in the wall. We wanted to eat outside but the tables were taken. Inside is very a modern/ romantic/ mexican decor & feel. The candles on the wall give it a very romantic yet modern touch. The chips are unique (you have to see it for yourself) & both the salsa & cheese sauce for them is great. The food tasted very good, I had a steak & my wife had beef mini tacos, but to me the beans did not taste good. It would have been better if the steak came with rice as well but instead it was a flank steak & a small bowl of beans. The food portions are somewhat small, I even asked for a second serving of chips. I would have asked for a third but i was embarrassed to do it. It was a relaxed ambiance & I loved the music.
