I had two blankets cleaned here. First, it was twice as expensive as another cleaner with whom I was satisfied a half block down. I went here, though, because I was in the strip mall for another errand.
When I got the blankets back, they had a very strong floral scent. I hung them outside to air out, but 3 days later, the smell was still there. I went back to the cleaners to ask about the smell. The owner insisted the blanket did not smell and then told me that it smelled clean. I responded that clean does not smell. Clean is the absence of smell. I asked for a refund. She refused. I shall not return.
I am surprised. I have been to many ""environmental"" cleaners before and never had the experience in which my laundry returned so heavily scented. It makes me wonder how they do their dry cleaning.
