Just under 3 years in and I am having problems with the humidifier. Have spent a week trying to get a hold of Platinum and they do not answer their phone or return my calls. Not sure if they are out of business now, but I would not recommend them any more!\r
I had initially thought about going with another vendor who was cheaper, but they had no reviews and were selling an 'off brand' product. James at Platinum came out and gave a free estimate, and offered a Honeywell solution that we went with. A couple of months later when the unit was indicating that it needed service, he came back that day (on a Saturday) to evaluate and discuss alternatives. James came back a third time to fix the unit, and was always prompt and professional for each appointment.
Pros: Excellent customer service and workmanship
Cons: Slightly pricier that some competitors
