Michael Sesko, salon owner, refused to refund my money after they did a terrible job on a thermal hair straightening procedure which cost $400. I had the same procedure done in 2007, 2008, and 2009 at the same salon by a stylist named Annakin and it looked great. When I made my appt for the 2010 straightening, Michael told me that Annakin had left but that Justine could do my hair instead. She did it on May 1, 2010. It came out frizzy and bumpy, so she re-did it (under Michael's supervision) on May 6, 2010. It still looks terrible. Michael offered me a free deep conditioning treatment, but he said that will not help with the bumps.
Michael told me on 5/15/10 that he wouldn't refund the money because the straightening "wasn't that bad." When I protested, saying that my hair was bumpy and frizzy, he said he would think about it and get back to me. I haven't heard from him.
I've been a haircut client of Michael's for over 12 years, and up to now I've always been really happy with his services. I've sent friends to him for haircuts. He really is a very talented haircutter. I'm completely surprised at his indifference to how bad my hair looks, and his failure to give me a refund. I'm left with bumpy, frizzy hair and I'm out $400.
