From the time you walk through the door, you are pampered. The reception desk is polite and professional. Char is my hair stylist. She listens, makes current and wonderful suggestions and I consistently walk out with what I am happy with. I have, what I was always told, was ""difficult hair"" yet Char seems to enjoy working on my hair and alway gives me the perfect style, that is both stylish and easy for me to keep. An added perk, my husband, who is very critical of my hair, which is shoulder length, says I look sexy. And I think that a good complement for a husband to say. more

Daniel is Amazing 5/9/2011

Daniel has been my stylist at the Arboretum for several years and I have never had a bad haircut. My entire family, including 4 grown daughters, all go to Daniel and love him. One daughter drives from Nashville and loves that as her hair grows out it still looks great! People frequently ask where we get our hair done and we are pleased to recommend Daniel. The staff at Planet 21 are all very warm and friendly. If you want a change give them a call! more

I have been going to Planet 21 for a few years now and love every experience there. Everyone is friendly and professional, and it appears that all of the stylists do a wonderful job! Abby is my colorist and is so helpful with consulting about what highlights would work well with my hair. Amanda does a great job cutting and styling my do. =) At a great price too! I highly recommended this salon! more

Best hair Salon 5/8/2011

I have been going to Planet 21 for several years after being recommended from a friend. I was challenged to find a salon I liked after living in both Atlanta and London. Planet 21 has far surpassed all of my expectations. Char is so talented and always knows exactly how to cut my hair perfectly. I have seen several colorists at the salon and all have been very good. I would recommend this salon to anyone who asks. more

Best Salon 5/5/2011

Planet 21 is my favorite hair salon in Charlotte. I have been getting my hair done there for several years. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. Stephanie listens to my ideas and does a great job with my hair color. Kat helps me choose the right style for my hair and gives me the best cut. I can always depend on their consistent and pleasant service. I would never go anywhere else. more

I have been going to Planet 21 Salon at the Arboretum for several years and have left happy with my hair and all of my experiences at the salon every time. As someone who is very picky about my hair, I have been extremely pleased with Char and would definitely recommend her. She is very thorough and I trust her completely. I have referred both of my sisters to her for haircuts, as well as several friends, and we all have been very happy with every Planet 21 experience. more

Great salon! 5/3/2011

I recently moved to Charlotte from out of state and was concerned about finding someone to do my color. Thankfully, I quickly found Ashley at Planet 21 and have been thrilled with my color. Amanda had cut my daughter's hair, which looked so good that I've been going to her for my cut and have been very happy. I also think the salon's prices are very reasonable, which just tops it all off -- great experience every time! more

I have been going to Planet 21 for years. The colorists are great and the stylist I stick with is Daniel. For weeks after I get my hair done people complement me and ask where I got it done. I have sent many friends who are equally as pleased. Try it for a great new look. more

I recently went to Planet 21 @ the Arlington. Jennifer did my color and Julie cut my hair. They both did an amazing job and I was very happy with my experience. Both were professional and personable and the salon is beautiful...I highly recommend this salon and especially these 2 employees! more

I have gone to Planet 21 for a number of years, and I have never been disappointed. All of the hair stylists and colorists have been wonderful; however, I try to get Kelsey to color my hair and either Leanne or Kat to cut my hair. They are fantastic!\r \r The atmosphere there is also great, and I like the products they use as well. I do wish they were a little cheaper, but I have found there is definitely truth to the saying ""you get what you pay for"".\r \r One tip: Planet 21 has 3 different locations, and some of the stylists go to more than one location. So, if you are looking to have a specific stylist/colorist on a particular day, you might want to ask the receptionist where the stylist/colorist is working that day. more
