I've always adored the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. This review is not in regards to performances or it's impact on the city, but rather to the HORRIFIC customer service.\r
I purchased tickets to Sound of Music and was told I would receive half off by using a special promotion code. When the promotion code didn't take, I called customer service. I was talked down to and treated poorly while attempting to reconcile a situation regarding this false promotion code. I was on the phone for 40 minutes and no attempts were made to help with the situation - I was only continually spoken down to by employees as well as the supervisor. After demanding a refund for the tickets, they said they would refund the money for the tickets themselves, but not the ridiculous $20 service fees. I will never again order tickets with Cultural Trust based on this experience. It wasn't only the situation, but the way it was so inappropriately handled by customer service. I was actually told ""I don't want to talk down to you, BUT"". I will never forget this awful experience and from now on will be ordering my tickets, and seeing shows, elsewhere.
