Pirate's Cove 4/16/2006

This has been an great addition to the list of summer activities in the Denver area. Pirate's Cove is a very pleasant outdoor water park. It is not nearly as big as Water World, and it does not have the dramatic theme rides that Water World features. However, the adult admission price is just $7.50, and for that price, you get plenty of bells and whistles, including three very long and twisty water slides, and a lazy river ride. You can easily spend a full day here, cool off, and be entertained. more

Nice water park 8/11/2005

The splashing water is a bit loud after a while but there is plenty to keep your kids wet here. Lots of splash areas and good seperation between the deep areas of water and the safe places for your little one. It was crowded on the weekend that we went but really cleared out in the last hour, so go late and stay til they close. more

Cheap cover and a fun day 8/2/2005

Pirate's Cove is a fantastic Place to bring your kids. It has a cheap cover charge (especially compared to Water World or Elitches) , and will keep the whole family busy all day. Whether you want to relax in the pool, or seek to scream on water slides, this park has everything you could want! My 2 year old had a blast and my husband enjoyed the scarier slides. This was a great value for a day in the sun! You should definitely head there the next time the temp reaches 90 degrees! more

Pirates Cove Waterpark 7/19/2005

This is a new water park in Englewood. The price to get in is not very expensive and you can definitely spend 4 to 5 hours here. They have a great leisure pool area with a large play structure and a tipping pail, three slides, a lazy river for rafting and a 6 lane lap pool. There are concession stands or you are allowed to bring in your own food and drink. more
