On another adventure for a great burger... I ordered The Bronx Bomber because the BBQ sauce and caramelized onions had a great beefy flavor, and with the Swiss, it was like french onion soup on a burger. With it being only one mile off the Hutchinson Parkway, I don?t see why you wouldn?t stop. Big, juicy, flavor full, creative and a great burger to bun to topping ratio. Always worth the wait.... 12/29/2006

My family and I live in Florida after moving from Mount Vernon over ten years ago. We've made it a tradition to visit every winter at least. Among all the family places we're obligated to visit, we've never missed a chance to have Pipers' Bronx burger or their Shrimp basket. Sometimes twice in a single weekend. My thanks to Pipers for being so consistant for all these years. See you again next year. Pros: Small neiborhood bar and restaurant where everybody knows you. If you live in Eastchester you already know. If not. This place is the best. Local hangout that everyone in Westchester seems to know about. The best hamburger (my personal fave is the blue cheese burger) around. The wings are great. The nachos out of this world. Every single thing on the menu is sure to please. Great to watch a game or sit with the family and have dinner. Always a crowd at dinner time which tells you how good the food is. The staff is the best! Pros: great food, good value, atmosphere more

This place has BIG FAT JUICY burgers. THE BEST!!! Get a nice cold beer to go with it and your in beer & brew heaven. In regards to the previous review...THATS NOT CHEEZWIZ....THATS REAL FRESH ""CHEDDAR' MELTED ON TOP OF THE BURGER. more
