Great service Wonderful food Awesome atmosphere 1/22/2011

Not what you would expect! It looks from the exterior to be a little dinky Asian restaurant but when you walk inside it is charming, warm, romantic, and quite inviting. My boyfriend and I went there because Outback was overly packed and we definitely did not regret it. The food is authentic and delicious with generous portions. The staff are quite friendly and helpful when deciding what to eat. Last time I went I had this delicious sweet plum wine suggested by my waitress--it was amazing with dessert. This place is really a must try! more

One of My Favorites 9/16/2010

Love this place - eat here about twice a month. They can be really busy at lunch-time on weekdays, but not too bad most evenings. They have a newer location out on South Rainbow that I've been too once - not as busy and very nice decor. Food is great, service is usually very good and wait staff are typically beautiful Thai girls. If you like Thai food, you've got to give Pin Kaow a try. more

I dream Chicken Pad Thai 3/8/2010

I am a huge fan of this place. Though I have had some bad service in the past with the hostess. BUT the food is so good that we have forgiven the one time bad service. Pros: Great food Cons: no waiting area-make a reservation or go at a different time more

Good atmosphere 11/21/2009

My girlfriend loves coming here for the papaya salad and the skinny senorita drink. She insists on having ty ku because it has less calories, and i'm not complaining. My personal favorite though is the salmon and tom yum soup, just enough spiciness. We're usually here on a friday or sat when they have the thai dancers, adds a little entertainment to just a dinner date. We're regulars here for a reason, pin kaow is def worth a visit. more

Not that great 12/8/2008

I ordered my food to-go. I did not like their service. The cashier lady was quite rude and the food was not authentic at all. I wouldn't recommend this place. Pros: beautiful decorations Cons: rude service, not authentic more

Lake mead and rainbow 10/25/2008

Being thai i can say that this is the best thai resturaunt in vegas i can cook almost all of the thai food and i am very picky about what i eat but this is just like home cooking espesialy just like my mom makes. more

Cold Food 10/8/2008

I am so tired of hearing everyone in the city rave about this place! My husband and I went there one night, ordered our food, and maybe 4 minutes went by and our dinner was out before our appitizer came. It was cold and bland tasting. Having dinner is in 4 minutes would be nice, but not reality for FRESH food. We tried the place out again, and our food was a bit better tasting, but the service definatly lacked. Overall, I wish people would stop talking about this place like its heaven sent because with my experiance, its FAR from. Cons: high prices, average food and service more

Wow!! 8/7/2008

Great service, beyond expectations. As you walk in the atmosphere of the restauraunts sets you in the mood and prepares your for a great meal at this restauraunt. Very nice servers , though have of them dont speak english, enough to provide great customer service though. I would definetely recommend this restauraunt. more

Greedy and The Rudest Restaurant in LV (Rainbow and Robindale Location) 7/30/2008

I have been overcharged and treated like DIRT on the last 3 occasions. The 1st time, we were charged for 4 rounds of cocktails, when we were only served 2.We waited for the 3rd round and it never came. When I tried to bring up the error to the server, she acted like we were trying to get away w/something. I didn't want to look cheap, so I just dropped it and secretly vowed never to return. However, a client asked to get delivery for a meeting. When I ordered I spoke to a woman who could not speak english. After repeating my credit card 5 times, she said ok and just hung up. I called her back to ask the ETA and for a total. She then HUFFED at me and said she had other customers calling and put me on hold. After leaving me on hold another 5minutes, she came back and had no idea who I was or what I wanted. I finally was told delivery would be around 1hour and 15 minutes. I thought that was crazy, but just thought I would leave well enough alone. 1hour and 45 mins later, when I called to ask where my food was, I was told the delivery driver had just left. 2 h and 20 mins later, we had our food. When he got there, the check had 2 items on the bill we did not order or recieve and an outrageous delivery fee. I called to discuss this with the restaurant before I signed the card and they acted like they did not understand. The next day I looked at my bank account and saw two charges for Pin Kaow. To end a very long story, I was never able to get this resolved. Tonight, I HAD to get it AGAIN. Instead of waiting 2 /2 hours, I decided to pick up. I asked how long it would take and said I was in a rush. She said 10. I sat there for about 15 and then saw a bag come out from the kitchen. Thinking surely she would hand it over it it was mine. Instead she just sat there and counted money for another 10 minutes until I had to say-""that's not our food, is it?"" She didn't even look up and just said ""yeah"". If I wouldn't have already paid I would have just walked out. more

good food; good atmosphere 1/7/2008

its hard to find a good place to get asian food but this place is the best its afforable and good, i usually get the BBQ chicken but ive tired almost everything on the menu and i love it. If you have time stop by and sit and enjoy the atmosphere or pick up you wont be disapointed. Love that place and will continue to go there. Pros: service is excellent, price is affordable, food is good Cons: small atmosphere, people fill up fast, more

Pin-Kaow 3/9/2007

This is THE BEST place for Thai food in Vegas. I have lived here 30 years and it really is the best I've found. I have been going to Pin-Kaow since they opened. The prices are very resasonable, the staff is wonderful and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I HIGHLY recommend it!! Pros: Excellent food made to your taste/spiciness level Cons: Sometimes it's very busy and hard to get a table more

Awesome Thai food on the west side of town 1/12/2007

I love this place and I eat here at least once a week, sometimes more. I work right up the street and it's one of the most popular lunch spots in the area. Get there early (before noon) if you don't want to wait for a seat. Excellent dishes and the ambience is nice. I really like the pad thai and tofu with broccoli and oyster flavored sauce. The wait staff is very nice although sometimes slow when it is busy. Very clean. They definitely would do well with an area dedicated for single diners. It's kind of annoying when there is a 15 minute wait and 4 of the tables are taken up with single diners. One of my big pet peeves, I guess. I highly recommend this place. I used to drive to Sahara for Thai food until this one opened. Pros: Very flavorful food with lots of traditional dishes. Cons: Lots of single diners taking up valuable space. more

All Spiced but its missing some taste 11/30/2006

Wierd name, good atmosphere, however, food is just average. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: mall, safety more

Best Thai food in Vegas! 9/20/2005

My co-workers and I have been trying to find a decent Thai place in Vegas and after many failed attempts, we finally found Pin Kaow! We are all huge fans of Thai food and as such, probably pickier than most, but Pin Kaow did not disappoint! The quality of the food was top notch and the meat used was high quality meat. We will definitely be returning! Pros: food, quality, value Cons: service, location more

Sa Bi Dee 5/29/2005

Simply great food with an acceptable wine selection in the NW side of town. Might not be noticeable being cramped between a local bar and a deserted 7-11 which is a minus in their location but the food is just outstanding. You have to try any of their Pa-Nang cuisines to the simple yet superb Catfish delight. Ambience has improved due to a recent renovation making it bigger and quite a bit more presentable than before. Pros: Value, Food Cons: Location more

GREAT! 12/8/2004

Superb thai food, the best in the NW part of town. Flavorful dishes and pleasant service; their recent remodeling has made the interior very nice, despite its location in a strip mall. Don't pass this restaurant up! Pros: Excellent Food, Good Service more
