Barbara amazed me with her knowledge of how the body works. I suffered from sciatica and in one session, Barbara's work to release the muscles involved had me pain-free. I went home with information on how to stretch and release on my own. Through continued Pilates sessions with Barbara, I've acquired a new awareness of my own body's strengths and limitations and have learned to move more comfortably and naturally in my daily routine. Breathing, once taken for granted, is a whole new experience, using visualization and awareness of ribs, lungs, diaphragm and pelvic floor, all working together. I'm stronger, firmer, and more flexible than I have been in years. I'm hooked on Pilates, and Barbara got me there.
